running & Community engagement :

  • Dr. Kathy has a history of running & training for 5k's, 10k's, half & full marathons. Unfortunately, due to post-surgical complications and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome she is no longer able to run, but is still deeply involved in the running community and stays active.

Dr. Kathy is a Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in Hypermobility & Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Sports medicine, pain management & mental health.  She grew up in a small town playing baseball and soccer and after developing a fascination with human physiology and movement, she went on to complete an Honours B.Sc. in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario.  It was here that she realized her dream of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor and moved right along to study the four-year Naturopathic Doctor Diploma program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.  She lives her life with passion and practices what she preaches, incorporating her love of movement and great food into her own healthy lifestyle.
